KRIS DARTNELL
Kris Dartnell is a Certified Management Accountant with a Masters of
Business Administration with a solid knowledge of CIDA
resulted-based project management practices. She joined Geospatial/SALASAN in 1998 and has extensive experience in assessing organizational capacity, identifying issues and competencies, and recommending and designing management solutions. Kris has traveled on evaluation, monitoring and training missions to
Nigeria, Malaysia, St. Lucia, Cuba, Jamaica as well as Vietnam, Nepal, Thailand and Cambodia.
Her experience with management information analysis and reporting
is reflected in her ability to package complex data for informed
decision-making. Kris Dartnell also has extensive experience with international
banking and funds transfer in the execution of international projects.
Kris Dartnell was awarded the Governor General's Gold Medal by Royal Roads University for the most outstanding thesis of the 2004 convocating masters programs. Her topic was “Building Capacity in Grassroots Organizations” and was based on work undertaken in Cross River State, Nigeria.
In May 2004, Kris was named recipient of the Founders' Award by Royal Roads University in recognition her exemplary qualities of leadership, sustainability and personal development.
Currently Kris is Senior Project Manager on a major British Columbia government initiative analyzing the financial implications of the development of Aboriginal governance and the devolution of Aboriginal child and family services programs.
