Michael Miner

Michel MinerMichael Miner is GeoSpatial/SALASAN’s Regional Director of the Southeast Asia Regional Cooperation in Human Development (SEARCH) project. Michael has more than 25 years experience in international development management and has worked in 92 countries during his varied career.

Michael has a Masters Degree in International and Community Development from the University of Alberta, a BA from Guelph and did his PhD course work at UBC and at the University of Toronto. His thesis work focused on cross cultural management and cultural interventions.

Melinda MacDonald

Melinda MacDonald

Melinda MacDonald, Program Manager on the SEARCH project, is a specialist in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) who came to GeoSpatial/SALASAN from a career in executive positions with the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution and the International Peace Systems Initiative. The focus of her current interest is the connection between social justice and human rights, and cross cultural conflict management.

Melinda has a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University and a Master of Arts and Graduate Certificate in International Development and Cooperation from Ottawa University where she produced a thesis on women in the developing world.
